What’s something you wished you learned from your parents, but didn’t? Was it basic cooking skills, sewing, or learning how to budget and save? There were so many things I wanted to learn from my parents, but I didn’t get a chance to as a teenager.
Hi y’all and welcome to Life Lessons On blog. My name is Trinh and I’m a wife, mother, and full time working professional living in Texas. I grew up as a first generation Vietnamese-American raised by a single mother.
While my mother was hard at work, providing for my sisters and I with food and shelter, there wasn’t much time to teach us lessons on different areas of our lives as we grew into adulthood. We had to learn it on our own, but we gained great friends and mentors along the way.
This blog is really my place to document all the lessons/advice I have learned in life, and pass them on to my daughter and future generations to come. We will cover a variety of topics from cooking to finances to lessons I’ve learned as a first time parent. I really hope you enjoy my content here and learn lessons along the way to pass along.
